Why The Expo?

Demographics indicate that the over 50 population is growing fast nationally and in the Fox Cities. These people have discretionary income to spend. Many own their homes, have money to invest, like to travel, want to stay healthy, and are looking toward their future and changes like a place to live where certain amenities are available.

The Expo is designed to be one location where seniors may gather a lot of helpful information. There will be seminars, health screening, exhibits and entertainment. It is the ideal place for informal, casual contact with your product or service. You can reach your targeted audience in an atmosphere conducive to sales. Your cost per contact will be a lot lower than individual sales calls and even direct mail.

Last year slightly over 400 seniors attended the 10th Annual Senior Expo with 49 exhibitors at the Liberty hall. We will actively advertise to bring in over 600 seniors for 2008.

This year we have moved to The Players Choice which is a much larger facility with more parking and much more exhibition space. Each exhibitor will have a 10 ft X 10 ft space for the same cost as last year-$350. We can easily handle over 100 exhibitors, and therefore we have opened it up to many more businesses that are involved with seniors of all ages. Green Bay Exposition Services will perform the decorations at the new facility.

Option 2-Advertise in our Program Booklet (Click here for more Information)

Attract more buyers by supplementing your listing with advertising This year's Senior Living EXPOŽ program booklet will again include advertising. If you sell products or services to seniors, you will want to advertise in our program booklet All attendees will receive a program booklet and by adding more helpful information to the program booklet, we know it will be kept for a reference all year.

Below are the details. We have included different sizes to fit different budgets.

Option 3-Become a Sponsor

This year we are introducing the concept of partnerships or sponsorship at three different levels. Each level will obtain space in all advertising materials with the company name and logo indicating sponsorship of the event. Here is a listing of the cost for each:

Name Sponsor-The sponsor will be listed along with the Appleton noon Lions Club in the event title on all advertising and correspondence. Also included are two large booths located at the entrance to the arena, and a full page ad in the program booklet. Cost $5,000.

Basic Sponsor- The company will obtain space in all advertising materials with the company name and logo indicating sponsorship of the event. Also included are two large booths located at the entrance to the arena, and a full page ad in the program booklet. Cost $2000.

Limited Sponsor-The company will obtain space in all advertising materials with the company name and logo indicating sponsorship of the event. Also included is one large booth located near the entrance to the arena, and a full page ad in the program booklet. Cost $1000.

Option 4-Become a Prize Donor (Click here for more Information)

Each year, we attempt to give out over 150 prizes to our attendees in addition to other giveaways provided by area business that cater to the "over 50" crowd.

We are intensely interested in at least ONE large "Door Prize" drawing available at 1:00 pm with the person required to be present to win. A $200 donation would attach your name to this "Brett Favre" prize.

If you would like to provide us with cash for prizes, coupons for discounted meals or goods, giveaways for all attendees, or if you have goods or services that you would be willing to offer as door prizes-please send your name and information to :

Any and all items will earn you a spot in our program booklet as a prize donor-as long as we have this information by August 1, 2008.

You may mail the items directly, or call for a pick-up. The sooner-the better. Thank you on behalf of all those we serve. A thank you for all gifts will be sent after the event.

We intend to send direct mail to approximately 10,000 seniors in our area including Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, Kimberly, Kaukauna, Greenville, Seymour and Freedom. We will extend FREE entrance to the event for all seniors. In addition, we are looking at providing golf cart rides from extended parking locations if the lot fills up. We have made arrangements for caff style seating for seniors with a great food menu available, music will again be provided
